With four matches, the two-day program of the third “round” of the English Premier League concludes on Sunday (31/8).
The first two games of the day are scheduled for 16:00. Manchester City will be tested at the Falmer Stadium against Brighton, looking to overcome the “shock” of their home defeat to Tottenham. At the same time, Nottingham Forest will host West Ham at the City Ground, aiming to return to winning ways after their draw with Crystal Palace.
The big clash of the day is scheduled for 18:30. Champions Liverpool will host Arsenal at Anfield, in a showdown between title contenders. Both teams are the only ones to have recorded only victories so far, but that will change. Arne Slot will be without Frimpong, while Mikel Arteta cannot count on Jesus, Havertz, and Saka, with Ødegaard, Nørgaard, and White all doubtful.
The curtain of the day – and of the matchweek – will fall at 21:00 at Villa Park. Aston Villa will face Crystal Palace, in a match between two sides still searching for their first league win of the season.
